Chowki Dhani in Chennai opens at 4pm and closes at 10 Pm.
It comes to Chennai-Banglore highway. 2km far from the Queens land amusement park.
It's a good place to hang out. You will enjoy only if you in a group, otherwise you will be bored :P. However, its not good as the Jaipur one. But it is quite ok to visit, to treat your taste buds with Rajasthani food and to live a full day in Rajasthani istyleee

You can reach there by following ways
1) Just book a cab for full day directly from Pondicherry to Chennai, it's easier but will cost you more.
2) Take a local bus to Chennai main bus stand Koyambedu.
Then from there you hire a cab directly to Chowki Dhani, it is 25 kms exactly from the main bus stand ,
At night also you need to book a cab/taxi before hand only, as local buses and autos are may not be available there.
3) In return , if you are lucky enough, you can get a local bus from the main road in the night , which will drop you to Ponammale , from Ponammale you can go to Koyambedu through auto or local bus.
